Linda Cutsinger, MA, CCC/SLP

Owner

Linda began her career in Muskogee, OK after graduating from Tulsa University in 1972 with a Master of Arts degree in special education and speech pathology. She relocated to Tucson in 1974, and then to Phoenix a few years later where she has had diverse experiences in speech pathology in schools, hospitals, nursing homes/rehabilitation centers, juvenile detention centers and placement homes. While working in a specialty hospital, Linda conducted original research in oral dysphagia, identifying aspiration in adult and hospitalized patients on ventilators.  She maintains special interests and advanced training in areas of auditory processing disorders, apraxia and neurological motor disorders, feeding disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. She is also certified in Neuro-developmental treatment.

Linda enjoys spending time with family, including her husband, Jay, five children and four grandchildren.  She also loves swimming, tai chi, music, quilting and traveling.

Anna Hart, M. Ed., SLPA 

Anna holds a Bachelor’ of Arts degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Communication Disorders from Boston University, and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in autism spectrum disorders from Johnson State University in Vermont. She has been a speech therapist and special educator for 23 years and has been with ASPRA for 13 years. Anna is pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with an Emphasis in Special Education at Grand Canyon University. She is passionate about providing research-based interventions for clients with autism and helping families, clients with autism, and professionals that work with clients with Autism to have successful outcomes.

Anna also owns and teaches in her private schools in Maricopa and Casa Grande, specializing in teaching students with autism in an inclusionary environment as well as providing specialized reading instruction for students with dyslexia.

Christy Saint, SLPA

Christy has been practicing speech therapy for 3 years. She loves her job working with children who have special needs, and her heart is for those who are nonverbal. Christy is a married mom of 2 boys, one who has multiple disabilities, for which she is his voice and he is her heart. She is also a breast cancer survivor, homeschool teacher and an animal rescuer with an array of disobedient pets, including four dogs, seven cats, three chickens and a bunny!

Andrea Garr, MA, SLP

Andrea graduated from Arizona State University with both undergraduate and graduate degrees. She specializes in working with children with autism. She is a native Arizonan and lives in Phoenix with her family.

Teague Wilson, BS, SLPA

Teague graduated in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona. He previously worked as a research scientist, as well as a food safety chemist/microbiologist.

 

In 2016, after receiving an associate's degree in speech therapy, Teague left the lab bench behind and began work as a state-certified speech language pathologist assistant. He creates individualized lesson plans for each client in collaboration with his supervisor, preferring to focus on story-telling and pragmatic dialog.

 

Teague has a passion for animals and rescues cats and ferrets in his free time.

Denise Hines, MA, CCC/SLP

Denise is a native of Arizona and has a diverse background in special education. She began her career as an early interventionist in 1997, and then in 2000, she was hired as a special education preschool teacher. Furthering her education and obtaining a deeper understanding of communication skills, Denise returned to college and graduated from NAU with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Speech and Language Pathology in 2014. 

When she isn’t working, Denise enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
